Charee Monroy has appeared Off-Broadway in From the Fire, created by Liz Swados, directed by Cecilia Rubino. She has also appeared in a number of new works, including Amalia Oliva Rojas’ Dandelions and Waves, as well as Theo Iyer’s 100 Aker Woods, directed by Spencer Whales. Other roles include Pompey in Measure for Measure (Stella Adler) and Ida Bolton in Morning’s at Seven (Stella Adler).
Charee Monroy recently completed studying with Philippe Gaulier at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, which included Clown, Characters, and Bouffon. Past training includes clowning with Christopher Bayes, Viewpoints with Mary Overlie, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts: Stella Studio of Acting.
Special skills include horseback riding: english, western, and bareback, as well as skateboarding, aerial silks, percussion, and tumbling.
